Cynnamon Schreinert has established herself as a respected public relations consultant in Vancouver, British Columbia since her graduation from the public relations program at Kwantlen University College in 2005. Working with a variety of arts organizations since 2004, Cynnamon has created publicity awareness campaigns that have resulted in regional and national media coverage. Past and present clients include Bard on the Beach Shakespeare Festival, Vancouver International Fringe Festival, Touchstone Theatre and numerous independent theatre companies as well as individual clients. Her career is rounded out as a media relations consultant for London Drugs with her mentor. Together they oversee all the public relations aspects of this B.C.-based company across Western Canada as well as assisting with public relations for its sister companies, Sonora Resort and London Air Services. In addition to her professional work, Cynnamon is enjoying her sixth year of volunteering with the YWCA High School Mentorship program. Cynnamon sat on the Women in Film & Television Vancouver Board of Directors as Secretary from 2005 to 2007 overseeing the communications and newsletter committees. She presently sits as Secretary on the Board of Directors for the First Vancouver TheatreSpace Society, producers of the Vancouver International Fringe Festival. Outside of her public relations work she continues to explore her creative aspirations which include acting, writing and photography.
